Do I have to know a lot about HTML to be able follow your instructions? You will need some basic HTML , such as knowing what an HTML tag is, but that's about all. If you are used to using WYSIWYG HTML editors, then a lot will depend on what it allows you to do, such as set heading tags and so on. I will provide a link to a great HTML primer that will take you through it.
Will your instructions increase the amount of traffic I get to my website? Definitely! You will see a significant increase in traffic, even if you are already using traffic generation software. Not only that, but that traffic will be targeted to your product, and not just consist of casual visitors who will take a quick look and then leave.
Why are you giving away the methods you use? Won't that help your competitors? I hope it does help them. I have nothing to fear and healthy competition can frequently not only increase the market available for a product, but also get a buzz going.
